The Andrew Sisters were a prolific and hugely successful close-harmony singing group, made up of three actual sisters--LaVerne, Maxene and Patty. Their musical career spanned decades. During World War II the Andrew Sisters entertained the U.S. troups extensively. Their greatest hit may have been "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." The Andrew Sisters sold more than 75 million records.
