Catarina Valente (1931-         ) is a singer, dancer and actress.  She was born in Paris to an artistic Italian family.  It's hard to say that Catarina Valente belongs to any one country, as she has sung in 12 languages and performed all over the world.  Her voice is so wonderful and her talents so many that it's no wonder she is called "Catarina the Great."
