Don (1937-      ) and Phil (1939-     ) Everly are a rock and roll duo known as the Everly Brothers.  Their distinctive sound comes from steel-string guitars and close harmony.  Their close harmony strongly influenced The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Simon & Garfunkle.
