Antoine Dominique "Fats" Domino (1928-      ) is an American rhythm-and-blues and rock-and-roll pianist and singer-songwriter.  He first attracted national attention with the song "The Fat Man," hence his nickname "Fats."  It sold over a million copies and is widely regarded as the first rock and roll record to do so.  It is featured in "The Very Best of Fats Domino" below.
