Jane Froman (1907-1980) was an American singer and actress, performing on stage, radio and television.  Jane developed a stutter, except when she sang.  Despite being severely injured in a USO plane crash during World War II, she continued her career for decades.  The 1952 movie With A Song In My Heart was based on her life.
